Lava A48 with Android 5.1 Lollipop listed on the company’s site
An upcoming Lava budget offering known as the A48 has just leaked out with low-end hardware onboard. It seems like someone at Lava has jumped the gun and put up the device on its website as there’s no mention of the pricing at the moment. But going by the hardware, we would be very surprised if the phone costs more than Rs 4,000.
That’s not to say that this is a bad phone though. Given the right price tag, the Lava A48 can be a very decent budget offering. As we all know, the Indian market is highly receptive to budget friendly devices. We’re hoping Lava officially announces availability for the device soon.
Have a gander at the hardware specs sheet below to get a better understanding of what you can expect from Lava’s newest offering. The fact that it’s running Android 5.1 Lollipop is relieving for many as older versions of Android have a reputation of lagging and hindering performance.
